CHROMA SERIES | CHROMA PIT

One cannot begin to design without thinking of the impact of color. As stated by The Graphic Designers Guide to the Psychology of Color, written by Will Erstad on 01/17/2018,

"Using color in graphic design is an excellent way to subtlety influence the way a viewer feels about a composition"

The relationship between color and design is imminent. As one can not be without the other. Thus I created a project that would allow the team to study this very idea of how color makes an impact in design and player experiences.

THE CHROMA SERIES
The Chroma Series is a team project that focuses on the the beautiful aspects of color and design, while using colors only from the Chroma Color Scale. The entire series consists of experiences from the Practice Map Genres, which is one of the most popular genres in Fortnite Creative.

The series consists of FFA's Boxfights, Zonewars, 1v1's, along with build and aim practice areas and will consist of a total of 6 maps to start the series off!

THE CHROMA PIT
We wanted to put together a practice map that paired design with all the elements players loved in a practice map. So we created THE CHROMA PIT!

The Chroma Pit features a large Free for All Arena where you can practice with your friends while getting better at your game. The vault consists of a large selection of your favorites plus access to mythics and legends. One of the most unique things about the Chroma Pit is the ability to accept challenges in order to increase your earnings and skill!
